They were one of the most successful and influential bands in Germany. Pioneers who helped German-language hip-hop break through with their humorous and intelligent lyrics. Now it's time to say goodbye to Die Fantastischen Vier, because after 36 years, the quartet consisting of Smudo, Thomas D., Michi Beck and And. Ypsilon is going on a farewell tour. Including two very last performances at the Olympic Hall.

So, one last time, it will be: ‘Jetzt geht's ab’ (Let's go). That was the first album with which Die Fantastischen Vier entered the charts in 1991. A year later, the four Stuttgart natives had their first big mega-hit with ‘Die da!?!’. ‘Sie ist weg’, ‘MfG – Mit freundlichen Grüßen’ and ‘Tag am Meer’ were just a few of the many other big hits and anthems with which the band immortalised itself in German music history.

They also offered top-notch entertainment with wit and charm during their live performances, such as at their last concert to date during their ‘Long Player Tour’ at the Olympic Hall in December 2024. It was impressive to see how much joy and fun Fanta 4 had on stage – without forgetting their social and socio-political commitment. This could be seen and heard in their appeal for donations to ‘Omas gegen Rechts’ (Grandmothers against the Right) and in their slogan ‘Laut gegen Nazis’ (Loud against Nazis). But on their final tour, entitled ‘Der letzte Bus’ (The Last Bus), a long journey is now coming to an end. So now is the last chance for all those who have never seen Die Fantastischen Vier live or want to experience them once again. The bus is turning onto the home stretch. And soon it will be the end of the line. Then they'll be gone. Gone.
