Herbert Grönemeyer

Arena-Tournee 2027

Olympic Hall

Whether it's ‘Bochum’, ‘Männer’ or ‘Flugzeuge im Bauch’, whether it's “Mensch” or ‘Kinder an die Macht’: Herbert Grönemeyer has made German music history with his songs and his work over the past four decades. Following his unplugged tour entitled ‘mittendrin – akustisch’ (right in the middle – acoustic) in 2026, Grönemeyer will also embark on a major concert tour in 2027 – including a double concert at the Olympic Hall.

Herbert Grönemeyer is one of the most successful German musicians of all time, with eleven of his albums reaching number one, from ‘4630 Bochum’ to ‘Ö’ and “Mensch” to ‘Tumult’. His albums topped the charts for a total of 74 weeks, more than any other artist since weekly sales surveys were introduced in 1978. He made his live debut in Munich in 1983 in front of 50 listeners at the Alabamahalle, and a year later, 1,200 fans were already crowding in front of the stage at the same venue. The Süddeutsche Zeitung wrote at the time: Grönemeyer differs "enormously from those rock singers and punks who spew out their displeasure with God and the world in an undigested manner, and also from the songwriters who (...) sing about the bad world in a whiny, self-pitying way. (...) Grönemeyer speaks his own language, clearly, straightforwardly, full of poetry. And self-irony." And that's exactly how it remains today.

As one of the country's few exceptional artists, he has enjoyed one success after another, including three open-air concerts at the Olympic Stadium – and now, following his unplugged performance in 2026, he is returning to the Olympic Hall for two live concerts. With the best and most important songs from more than 40 years.
